The ShootSteel.com Armadillo Stand is our most robust and bulletproof (pun intended) design to date. This all-steel design eliminates the need for a wooden or mild steel post meaning more time shooting and less time repairing. Using our widest base yet makes this system incredibly stable, and we made the legs out of 1/4″ AR400 so they will survive even direct hits from rifle or pistol rounds.
The two-piece upright is CNC laser cut from 3/8″ AR500 which translates into an upright that can withstand years of abuse from rifle and pistol rounds alike. A heavy duty die spring keeps the target stable for follow up shots and rigid enough to handle high energy impacts all the while providing enough give to allow for the audible feedback shooters love from their ShootSteel targets.
This product is compatible with all our static style targets using the slide-lock hanger included with the stand. We recommend purchasing additional slide-lock hangers for each additional target you intend to use with your Armadillo Stand.
This product is approximately 4′ tall not counting the target mounted on the system.
