About Us

As the president Evan is responsible for overseeing and directing the operations and strategy of the company. As well as overseeing the company's financial health, including working with banks to negotiate terms for company lines of credit, loans and leases. Evan also focuses a large amount of time on improving the company and its processes.
Evan started the business officially in 2009 under the company Multiplex Systems LLC. At that time the company sold cardboard target stands and reloading components. In 2010 the company cut the first steel targets. Evan enjoys shooting sporting clays, steel matches and IDPA. His passion for the shooting industry has pushed him to continuously improve the company and products.

If your target rings true, chances are Todd had a hand in getting it to you. As VP of Sales and Marketing at Shoot Steel, he’s the friendly voice behind cartridge: fit questions, range‑day tips, and the occasional dad joke tucked into an order confirmation. A lifelong hunter and weekend competitor, Todd knows the satisfaction of a clean hit and insists every AR500 gong we ship meets the same standard he expects on his own range. Off the clock, he’s either stalking whitetail, wetting a fishing line, or grilling burgers for his wife and two teenagers - often field‑testing the very targets you see online. Todd’s mission is simple: keep the process easy, keep the quality high, and prove there’s a real person (and a pretty decent shot) behind the screen.

Nate is a Minneapolis area native. He was first exposed to the firearms/shooting sports/hunting world by the Shootsteel crew and it has since become a big part of his life. You can find him spending time outdoors with his two boys, camping, kayaking, or playing sports.

Born and bred in the land of the north, Minnesota. Grew up hunting/fishing and greatly in the outdoors. Firearms/shooting has been a part of Jake's life since 4 years old, and has remained a core principle to his deeply unwavering beliefs and held values in the roots of American culture and the rights of the people. Other passions in life include powerlifting, Jake is a certified Fitness Specialist graduate of Anoka Ramsey here in MN.

Originally from Michigan, Jordan spent her first five years in Minnesota serving as a Park Ranger, where she developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and community engagement. Now, she's channeling that passion into the family business at ShootSteel.com.

Whether she's assisting customers over the phone or ensuring smooth operations in the warehouse, Jordan is dedicated to providing top-notch service. She particularly enjoys connecting with customers, taking the time to understand their needs and building lasting relationships.

Outside of work, Jordan embraces the great outdoors through hiking, dirt biking, and shooting sporting clays with her husband, Evan. Her hands-on experience and enthusiasm for outdoor activities bring valuable insights to the team and resonate with our community of shooting enthusiasts.

Sofia ensures every customer has a smooth and informed experience, from product questions to shooting distance guidance. With a background in marketing, she stays on top of the latest trends, offers, and innovations in the shooting industry. When she’s not supporting customers or the team, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She’s proud to be part of the Shoot Steel team because, as she says, “I tried shooting once - and never stopped.”

Chris keeps the wheels turning at Shoot Steel, managing day-to-day operations to ensure orders are filled promptly, inventory stays stocked, and production runs smoothly. With over 20 years of warehouse and logistics experience, he brings the expertise and problem-solving skills needed to keep things on track — even when challenges arise. Outside of work, Chris enjoys quality time with his family and can often be found on the sidelines cheering for his kids at their sporting events. He takes pride in being part of the Shoot Steel team, where precision, reliability, and hustle matter every day.
