The 3/8" AR500 22"x30" Rectangle Gong Target gives you a large full-torso strike face for long-range rifle practice, defensive shooting drills and high-volume pistol training. Measuring 22" wide by 30" tall, the target provides a generous hit zone that is easier to see and engage at distance. Each plate is CNC laser-cut from domestic 3/8" AR500 steel and made in the USA.
The target weighs approximately 72 lbs. unpainted and uses two 1/2" laser-cut mounting holes for chain, rubber strap and hybrid hanger setups. Pair it with the Hybrid Hangers, 15" Grade 100 Steel Chain Gong Mounting Kit or another compatible gong stand setup. The plate is rated for all centerfire handguns and rifle cartridges through .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor at the proper minimum shooting distances.

Safety and Usage
Minimum shooting distances:
- Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
- Rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity, including .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor: 100 yards minimum
- Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
- Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the target face
Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use at least Grade 5 mounting hardware. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect the plate and all mounting components before every session. Replace any target that shows cratering or severe pitting. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.
