The 28" target is CNC laser-cut from domestic 3/8" AR500 steel and mounts to a domestic 1/4" AR400 hardened steel base with two high-strength die springs. Assembly

The Static Pepper Popper ships ready to assemble. Attach the target plate to the spring-loaded AR400 base using the included mounting hardware. Verify that the springs, target and hardware are properly installed and secure before shooting.

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances:

• Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
• Centerfire rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 100 yards minimum
• Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
• Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the target face

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect the target plate, die springs, base and mounting hardware before every session. Replace any component that shows cratering, severe pitting or structural damage. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.
