The 3/8" AR500 9"x15" Static Silhouette 2-Pack gives you two compact silhouette plates and two patented T-Post Hangers ready to shoot. Fix the hanger to the target, slide it onto a T-post already in the ground and you are shooting without any additional tools or setup. Leave the T-posts in place between sessions and swapping targets in and out takes seconds. Each plate is CNC laser-cut from domestic 3/8" AR500 steel for consistent hardness, clean edges and predictable splatter. Compatible with all ShootSteel static mounting kits. Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances:

• Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
• Rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity (.308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor): 100 yards minimum
• Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
• Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the target face

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use at least Grade 5 mounting hardware. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect plates before every session and replace any plate that shows cratering or severe pitting. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.

What calibers are these targets rated for?
All centerfire handguns at 10 yards minimum and short-action rifle cartridges including .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor at 100 yards minimum. For rifles above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity, increase to 200 yards minimum and monitor the plate for pitting after each session.

How do the T-Post Hangers work?
Fix the hanger to the target using the included hardware, then slide the assembly onto a standard steel T-post. No additional tools are required once the T-posts are in the ground. Leave the posts in place between sessions and you can swap targets on and off in seconds without any tools at all.

Why a silhouette shape instead of a round plate?
The 9"x15" silhouette gives you a realistic upper-body target profile that is more practical for defensive shooting drills and competition practice than an equivalent round plate. It also presents a taller, narrower challenge that rewards vertical precision in ways a round gong does not.

Are these compatible with other ShootSteel mounting hardware?
Yes. These plates are compatible with all ShootSteel static mounting kits including the Static Target Hanger, Speed Rack Hanger and Short Range Rifle Steel Target Stand.

Why CNC laser-cut instead of plasma-cut?
CNC laser-cutting controls the heat-affected zone more precisely than plasma cutting, preserving hardness at the plate edge. The result is a cleaner perimeter, longer plate life and more predictable splatter behavior on impact.

Does this pack ship painted?
No. All ShootSteel targets ship unpainted. White and bright orange offer the best contrast downrange for tracking hits.

Is this product made in the United States?
Yes. These targets are manufactured in the United States from domestic AR500 steel.

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with ShootSteel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to ShootSteel specifications
