The Evil Roy® Target System – 1/2″ AR550 Steel is the most versatile target system on the market. Featuring an all target grade steel design, this is our most robust, modular, and adjustable target system to date. The ability to adjust not only the height of the target using the integral height stops but the angle of the target as well make this a perfect choice for rifle and pistol shooters alike.
Target is cut from 1/2″ AR550 steel, upright cut from 3/8″ AR500. Stand is cut from 1/4″ AR400 steel. No tools required for setup after initial assembly. Stand (21.8 lbs.), upright (6 lbs.), and target (25.4 lbs.) lock into place using heavy duty pins to lock in desired height and angle. Target system stands 4’10” (58 inches) to 5′ 6″ (66 inches) when placed in upright position.
The 1/2″ AR550 target allows shooters to worry less about damaging the steel due to a substantial increase in abrasion resistance. The Evil Roy® AR550 steel target system holds a rating for pistol cartridges at 10 yards int the upright position. Rated for 5.56 , .308 and 6.5 CM at 50 yards while in the angled position. AR550 is significantly harder, and mitigates the ‘pitting’ effect better than AR500. This is especially noticeable with higher velocity rounds, such as .223/5.556 NATO.
