Each spike is made from galvanized steel to help resist rust and corrosion during outdoor use. The pointed profile is designed to drive into most common soil types and help keep target systems from shifting in wind, uneven terrain or under repeated impacts.

Usage
Use a minimum of two spikes per compatible stand for best stability. Drive the spikes through the stand's ground spike ports and into firm soil. Rocky or hard-packed ground may require a hammer or mallet. Loose or sandy soil may require additional anchoring beyond the standard two-spike setup.

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with Shoot Steel safety and distance guidelines, including:
- No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
- Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
- Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
