The Speed Rack Target Hanger | Zinc-Plated | Add-On or Custom Rack Build gives you another target position for an existing Shoot Steel Speed Rack or a simple way to build a custom rack on your own standard 2x4 crossmember. Each hanger mounts independently at your preferred spacing and accepts compatible Shoot Steel 3/8" and 1/2" static targets using the included 1/2" target mounting hardware.

The hanger has a zinc-plated finish for weather and abrasion resistance and includes two lag screws for securing it to the 2x4 crossmember. Add one hanger to expand a current rack or use multiple hangers to lay out your own target spacing. Manufactured in the United States.

Assembly

Position the hanger at the desired location on the 2x4 crossmember and secure it using the two included lag screws. Mount the compatible target using the included 1/2" hardware. Target hardware can be tightened with a 3/4" wrench, socket or adjustable wrench. A drill or screwdriver is needed to drive the lag screws into the 2x4.

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distance and caliber compatibility are determined by the target plate installed on this hanger. Follow the ammunition, caliber and minimum-distance requirements for the specific Shoot Steel target being used.

Inspect the hanger, lag screws, target mounting hardware, 2x4 and supporting stand before every session. Replace any component showing deformation, cracking, loosening or excessive wear. Confirm the hanger and target are securely mounted before shooting. Always use quality eye and ear protection.

Can I use this hanger to add another target to my Speed Rack?
Yes. The hanger can be added to an existing Speed Rack to create another target position, provided your rack configuration has adequate space for the additional target.

Can I build a custom target rack with these hangers?
Yes. Each hanger mounts independently to a standard 2x4 crossmember, allowing you to use multiple hangers at the spacing you choose. You will also need a stand or uprights to support the crossmember.

What targets are compatible with this hanger?

• Normal wear, pitting, cratering and target face degradation are not covered

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with Shoot Steel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
