Upright, All-Steel Target Stand

The Upright, All-Steel Target Stand replaces the traditional wood upright with a steel system built for Shoot Steel static targets. The stand uses a CNC laser-cut 3/8" domestic AR500 upright with 1/4" domestic AR400 legs and includes a Slide-Lock Hanger and heavy-duty die spring. The assembled stand is approximately 4' tall, not including the target plate. Static targets are sold separately. Manufactured in the United States.

The Slide-Lock system lets you remove and install compatible static target plates without tools once each target is set up with its hanger. The heavy-duty die spring helps absorb impact and reduce stress through the target mounting assembly while maintaining a static target position. The two-piece upright breaks down for transport, and the wide all-steel base eliminates the need for a replaceable 2x4 upright.

Assembly

Assemble the two-piece steel upright and leg system, install the included Slide-Lock Hanger and mount a compatible Shoot Steel static target. Once a target is mounted to its Slide-Lock Hanger, the target-and-hanger assembly can be removed from or installed on the upright without tools.

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances and caliber ratings are determined by the target plate used with this stand, not by the stand itself. Use the Shoot Steel Cartridge Guide to choose a target appropriate for your firearm and ammunition.

Always use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect the target, Slide-Lock Hanger, die spring, upright, legs and connection points before every session. Replace any component showing structural damage or deformation. Repaint target plates regularly to track impacts and monitor target condition. Follow the ammunition and minimum-distance requirements for the specific target installed on the stand.

The Upright, All-Steel Target Stand uses a 3/8" AR500 steel upright instead of a wood 2x4, eliminating the need to supply and periodically replace a lumber upright.

• Normal wear, pitting, cratering and target face degradation are not covered

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with Shoot Steel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
