The 1/2" Gong Package - Three of a Kind gets three 1/2" AR500 9"x15" silhouette targets in the air with everything included except 2x4 lumber. Three 10" steel chains, three Hybrid Hanger Pairs and 2x4 Gong Stand Brackets are all included so you are not sourcing hardware separately. The chain locks into the hybrid hangers tool-free. Cut your crossmember to 48-60" and four legs to 60-80" each and you have a complete three-target range setup ready to shoot. The 9"x15" silhouette profile is a realistic upper-body format that works equally well for defensive pistol drills, competition practice and long-range rifle work. Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances:

• Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
• Rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 100 yards minimum
• Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
• .338 Lapua Magnum: 200 yards minimum
• Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the target face

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use at least Grade 5 mounting hardware. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect plates, chain and all hardware before every session. Replace any plate that shows cratering or severe pitting. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.

What calibers are these targets rated for?
All centerfire handguns at 10 yards minimum and rifle cartridges up to .338 Lapua Magnum at 200 yards minimum. For rifles at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity, 100 yards minimum is the starting point. Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the target face.

Why three silhouettes instead of round gongs?
Three 9"x15" silhouettes side by side creates a multi-target stage that mirrors the kind of setup used in IDPA, USPSA and defensive pistol courses. The realistic upper-body profile adds practical context to every drill that a round plate does not provide. Running three of the same size also lets you focus on transitions and cadence without adjusting your aim reference between plates.

What lumber do I need to complete the stand?
Standard 2x4 dimensional lumber available at any hardware or home improvement store. Cut the crossmember to 48-60" and four legs to 60-80" each. The product photos show 60" legs as a reference point. Lumber is not included.

How does the chain attach to the hybrid hangers?
The steel chain locks into the hybrid hangers without tools. Position the hangers on your 2x4 crossmember, drop the chain through and the target is ready to hang. No drilling or additional hardware required for the chain connection.

Why CNC laser-cut instead of plasma-cut?
CNC laser-cutting controls the heat-affected zone more precisely than plasma cutting, preserving hardness at the plate edge. The result is a cleaner perimeter, longer plate life and more predictable splatter behavior on impact.

Does this package ship painted?
No. All ShootSteel targets ship unpainted. White and bright orange offer the best contrast downrange for tracking hits.

Is this product made in the United States?
Yes. These targets are manufactured in the United States from domestic AR500 steel.

• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to ShootSteel specifications
