The 3/8" AR500 Texas Star Target | 10 Target Adapter upgrades an existing 5-plate Texas Star into a full 10-target reactive system. The kit adds five adapter arms with 8" targets and adjustable spring-loaded brackets, doubling the number of plates without replacing your existing Texas Star. The added targets increase movement, transitions and difficulty for competition practice and advanced handgun drills. A complete 3/8" AR500 Texas Star system is required and not included. Made in the USA.
Each 8" target is CNC laser-cut from domestic 3/8" AR500 steel. The adjustable spring brackets allow release tension to be tuned for your setup. When plates are hit, they disengage from the arms and change the balance of the star, creating increasingly unpredictable movement as the remaining targets rotate. When installed on the complete base system, the assembled Texas Star measures approximately 68" tall by 58" wide. This system is for handgun use only with a recommended maximum impact velocity of 1,500 fps and maximum energy of 500 ft-lbs.

Assembly
Remove the existing arms from the Texas Star hub, position the adapter arms over the original arms and reinstall them using the existing hardware. No specialized tools are required. Before shooting, verify all arms, spring brackets, targets and hardware are properly installed and secure.
Safety and Usage
Minimum shooting distance and limits:
- Handgun: 10 yards minimum
- Recommended maximum impact velocity: 1,500 fps
- Recommended maximum impact energy: 500 ft-lbs
- Handgun ammunition only
- No rifle ammunition
Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect the targets, arms, spring brackets, hub and mounting hardware before every session. Replace any target that shows cratering or severe pitting and replace damaged or excessively worn components before continuing. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.

Does this target ship painted?
No. Shoot Steel targets ship unpainted. White target paint provides strong contrast for tracking hits and refreshing the target between sessions.

- Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
- Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
