Hardox® 1/2" AR550 Static Target Package

The AR550 Static Target Package gives you a complete, stand-mounted steel target setup with your choice of target size. Choose the 12"x20" silhouette for full-profile training, the 9"x15" silhouette for a more compact drill target, or the 8" round for focused accuracy work. Each configuration includes a stable static stand, a tool-free hanger system and all required mounting hardware, with only a standard 2x4 needed to complete the setup.

Each target is CNC laser-cut from AR550 steel for maximum hardness, edge integrity and long-term durability under repeated impact. The included compression spring and hanger system allow the plate to move slightly on impact, helping direct splatter downward while reducing stress on mounting hardware. This results in consistent feedback, safer energy dispersion and extended service life compared to rigid mounting setups.

Assembly is straightforward using the included 1/2" hardware. Once assembled, the system provides a stable, repeatable shooting platform for both pistol and rifle training across a wide range of distances. Ships unpainted. Manufactured in the United States.

Assembly Notes

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances are determined by the cartridge used. AR550 targets are rated similarly to AR500 but provide increased resistance to pitting, especially with higher velocity rifle rounds.

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect all components before each session and replace any part showing damage or excessive wear. Do not use steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.
