Hardox® 1/2" AR550 Static Target Bundle

The Hardox® 1/2" AR550 Static Target Bundle gives you four steel targets in one package: one 12"x20" silhouette and three 5" round static targets. Every target is CNC laser-cut from Swedish-made 1/2" Hardox® AR550 steel and manufactured in the United States. The mix of one larger silhouette and three smaller round plates gives shooters multiple target sizes for precision work, transitions and practical shooting drills.

Hardox® AR550 is harder than AR500 and offers increased resistance to pitting and surface deformation, particularly with higher-velocity rifle impacts. Each target includes a mounting hole designed for 1/2" hardware and can be mounted to a compatible steel post, 2x4 or other stable structure. Grade 5 or higher mounting hardware is recommended and is not included.

Mounting

The targets are designed for use with standard 1/2" carriage bolts and compatible static mounting systems. Grade 5 or higher hardware is recommended. Mount each target securely to a steel post, 2x4 or other stable structure before shooting.

Safety and Usage

This 1/2" Hardox® AR550 target bundle is rated for centerfire handguns and rifles through .300 Win Mag when used at the proper minimum shooting distance.

Minimum shooting distances:

• Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
• Rifle under 2,800 fps muzzle velocity: 100 yards minimum
• Rifle over 2,800 fps muzzle velocity: 150 yards minimum
• Long-action rifles: 200 yards minimum
• Increase distance any time you observe pitting or cratering

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect each target and all mounting hardware before every session. Replace any plate that shows cratering, severe pitting or structural damage. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.

• Normal wear, pitting, cratering and target face degradation are not covered

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with Shoot Steel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
