3/8" AR500 Speed Plate Rack | Five 8" Plates

The 3/8" AR500 Speed Plate Rack | Five 8" Plates gives you a five-target steel plate rack without a heavy welded stand. The system includes five 8" round targets, five zinc-plated speed rack hangers and all target mounting hardware. Each target is CNC laser-cut from domestic 3/8" AR500 steel. Choose None - Kit Only or Add Legs with 1" diameter, 40" EMT conduit legs. A standard 2x4 crossmember is required for either configuration and is not included. Made in the USA.

The speed rack hangers slide onto the 2x4 crossmember, allowing you to position and reposition the five targets along the rack without drilling the crossmember. With the optional 40" EMT legs installed, the targets sit approximately 24" above the ground. The hangers can also be used with other compatible AR500 static target sizes if you want to change the plate arrangement. All five 3/8" AR500 targets are rated for centerfire handguns and short-action rifles through .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor at the proper minimum shooting distances.

Assembly

Slide the five speed rack hangers onto a standard 2x4 crossmember and position them where you want the targets. Attach the 8" plates using the included mounting hardware. No drilling is required to position the hangers on the crossmember. If you select the Add Legs option, install the included 1" diameter, 40" EMT conduit legs to raise the targets approximately 24" above the ground.

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances:

• Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
• Rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 100 yards minimum
• Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
• Maximum rated cartridges: .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor
• Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the target face

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect the target plates, hangers, crossmember, legs and mounting hardware before every session. Replace any plate that shows cratering or severe pitting and replace damaged system components before continuing. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.

What is the difference between Kit Only and Add Legs?
None - Kit Only includes the targets, hangers and mounting hardware without EMT legs. Add Legs includes the same kit plus the 40" EMT conduit legs. A standard 2x4 crossmember is required with either option and is not included.

• Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
