The 20" T-Post Protector Plate protects standard steel fence T-posts from low shots that can bend, weaken or destroy an unprotected post. The CNC laser-cut 3/8" AR500 protector provides 20" of coverage and is designed to take direct pistol and rifle impacts at the specified minimum shooting distances. Grade 5 carriage bolt hardware and lock nuts are included for mounting directly to the T-post. Made in the USA.

Assembly
Position the protector against the face of the T-post, install the included Grade 5 carriage bolt hardware and secure it with the lock nuts. Tighten with a 3/4" wrench and verify that the protector is firmly mounted before shooting.
Safety and Usage
Minimum shooting distances:
- Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
- Rifles including .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor: 100 yards minimum
- Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
- Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the protector plate
Always shoot perpendicular to the target and protector face. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect the protector plate, mounting hardware, T-post and target system before every session. Replace the protector if it shows cratering or severe pitting. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.
