This steel target paint is perfect for tracking direct hits on your steel targets. Not all paint is the same! Our paint covers very quickly, with just one pass, thanks to the high paint resin content. It also dries very quickly, so you're not sitting around waiting for paint to dry. In addition to tracking shots, this paint will also help protect your target from rust and oxidation.
Common enamel paints dry slow and have typically 40% less paint in the can than Steel Target Paint. Steel Target Paint lays down a matte finish which diffuses sunlight and mirage. Spray 6 to 8 inches from target surface and shake well before each use.
NOTE: Due to the high resin/solids content, it is important to invert the can after spraying and give it two or three quick shots to clear the valve button to keep from clogging. Product is extremely flammable, and contains gas under pressure, so keep it away from extreme heat! Optimal temperature is between 40-90 degrees Fahrenheit.
