The 2x4 Hybrid Gong Stand Brackets let you build a durable steel gong target stand using standard 1" EMT conduit legs and a 2x4 crossmember. The kit includes two CNC laser-cut domestic 1/4" AR400 steel brackets and four locking pins. Each bracket supports a system rated for up to 75 lbs. of hanging target weight, while the 2x4 crossmember lets you choose the width that fits your target spacing and range setup. Made in the USA.

The hybrid design combines easily sourced 1" EMT conduit with standard 2x4 lumber, keeping replacement parts inexpensive and readily available. Buy two lengths of 1" EMT conduit locally, cut each in half to create four legs, drill the required holes and secure the legs to the brackets with the included locking pins. Add a standard 2x4 crossmember in the length you need. For hanging hardware, pair the stand with the 15" Grade 100 Steel Chain Gong Mounting Kit or the 8" Rubber Chain Gong Target Mounting Kit. Assembly

Purchase two lengths of 1" EMT conduit and cut each in half to create four legs. Drill the required holes according to the included instructions, then attach the legs to the AR400 brackets using the four included locking pins. Install a standard 2x4 crossmember in the length needed for your target spacing.

The 2x4 crossmember can be sized for a compact single-target setup or a wider configuration with multiple targets. All conduit, lumber and hanging hardware are supplied separately.

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances are determined by the target plate used with this stand. Always follow the safety and distance requirements for the specific target and cartridge combination.

Inspect the brackets, locking pins, EMT legs, 2x4 crossmember, hanging hardware and target before every session. Replace any component that shows deformation, cracking, excessive wear or structural damage. Always use quality eye and ear protection and mount targets according to Shoot Steel specifications.

Do the brackets ship painted?
No. The 1/4" AR400 brackets ship unpainted.

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with Shoot Steel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
