Where should quick links be used in a gong target setup?
Quick links are designed for the connection between the chain and the gong stand hardware. They should not be attached directly to the target plate, where repeated impact energy and splash can fatigue the link and cause premature failure. Use a bolt and chain mounting kit for the target-to-chain connection.
Why zinc-plated?
Zinc plating resists rust and corrosion through outdoor use and weather exposure, extending the service life of the hardware between replacements.
Why buy a pack of four?
Having spares on hand means a worn or damaged link gets replaced immediately rather than ending your session. Quick links are a wear item and should be inspected before every session and replaced at the first sign of deformation or cracking.
