T-Post Hanger | Patented | Tool-Free Steel Target Mount for T-Posts

The T-Post Hanger turns a standard 1.25" farm T-post into a steel target stand in seconds. Bolt your static plate to the zinc-plated hanger using the supplied 1/2" carriage bolt and compression spring, slide the assembly over the top of the post and start shooting. No tools needed at the range. Works with both 3/8" and 1/2" ShootSteel static targets and drops on and off any straight, undeformed 1.25" T-post without modification. Protected under US Patent No. D895,054 S.

The spring-loaded mount allows the plate to lean forward naturally on impact, shedding splash safely downward rather than back toward the shooter. The hanger is CNC-cut and zinc-plated for long-term weather and abrasion resistance. Keep one hanger per target plate and you can swap between targets at the range in seconds without tools. Quick Assembly

• Insert the 1/2" carriage bolt through your static plate and compression spring
• Tighten the lock nut with a 3/4" wrench; the bolt shoulder locks into the target cutout, so only one tool is needed
• Slide the hanger over a straight, undeformed T-post and verify a snug fit

Minimum shooting distances are determined by the target plate used with this hanger. Always inspect the hanger, spring and hardware before every session. Replace any component that shows cracking, deformation or wear. Use only with straight, undeformed T-posts. Will this hanger fit my existing T-posts?
The hanger is designed for standard 1.25" steel T-posts available at farm, ranch and hardware stores. Because post profiles vary slightly by brand, bring the hanger to the store to confirm fit before purchasing posts. T-post not included.

What targets is this hanger compatible with?
This hanger works with both 3/8" and 1/2" ShootSteel static targets. It is not designed for gong targets, which require chain and quick link mounting hardware.

What does the compression spring do?
The spring-loaded mount allows the target plate to lean forward naturally on impact, which directs splash downward rather than back toward the shooter. It also absorbs some of the impact energy transferred to the hanger and post, reducing wear on both over time.

Why keep one hanger per target plate?
With a dedicated hanger on each plate, swapping targets at the range requires no tools and no hardware changes. Slide the current plate off, slide the next one on and keep shooting. For shooters who run multiple target sizes or alternate between pistol and rifle drills in the same session, one hanger per plate eliminates the only step that slows you down.

Does assembly require tools?
Initial assembly requires a single 3/4" wrench or adjustable wrench to tighten the lock nut. The carriage bolt shoulder locks into the target cutout, so only one tool is needed rather than two. Once assembled per plate, no tools are needed to mount or remove the hanger from the T-post at the range.
