The 1/2″ AR500 Steel Target Plate Rack delivers highly reactive and audible feedback, making it a rewarding addition to any range. Built as a durable alternative to the classic speed rack, this system is designed for both casual training and competition setups.

What’s Included

• (6) 8″ round AR500 steel plates, 1/2″ thick

• (6) Rubber strap kits for reactive swing mounting

• (6) Speed rack hangers (carriage bolt/spring not included)

• (1) Pair of 2×4 gong brackets
  Note: 2×4 lumber not included.

Reactive Performance
Each plate mounts on self-healing rubber straps, swinging back on impact and ringing loud enough for clear shooter feedback. Over time, straps will wear down—but replacements are available, or you can add extras now for convenience. For even more variety, expand your setup with the Swinging Target Hanger Kit (sold separately).

Stand Setup
The included gong brackets make a 2×4-only frame easy to build. We recommend cutting the cross beam to 48–60 inches and the four legs to 60–80 inches. For extra longevity, upgrade to conduit legs using our 2×4 hybrid brackets.
