The 1/2" AR500 Gong 3-Pack gives you three progressively sized steel targets and three T-Post Gong Hanger pairs for a versatile long-range setup right out of the box. The 8", 10" and 12" combination lets you work the smallest plate at distance for precision practice and step up to larger targets for faster transitions and confidence at extended ranges. Each plate is CNC laser-cut from domestic AR500 steel for consistent hardness, true edges and controlled splatter. Rated for all centerfire handguns and rifle cartridges up to .338 Lapua Magnum at 200 yards minimum, including 7mm Mag, .30-06, .300 Win Mag and .45-70. Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances:

• Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
• Rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 100 yards minimum
• Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
• .338 Lapua Magnum and comparable magnum cartridges: 200 yards minimum
• Increase distance any time you observe pitting on the target face

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use at least Grade 5 mounting hardware. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect plates before every session and replace any plate that shows cratering or severe pitting. Repaint regularly to track impacts and monitor surface health. No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.

What calibers are these targets rated for?
All centerfire handguns at 10 yards minimum and rifle cartridges up to .338 Lapua Magnum at 200 yards minimum. This includes 7mm Mag, .30-06, .300 Win Mag, .338 Win Mag and .45-70 at appropriate distances. For rifles at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity, 100 yards minimum is the starting point.

Why three different sizes in one pack?
Running three sizes in the same session builds practical target discrimination and distance judgment. The 8" plate challenges accuracy at distance. The 10" and 12" plates give you larger feedback zones for faster follow-up work and transitions. The combination is well suited for long-range practice, PRS-style training and mixed skill drills.

What chain and hardware do I need?

Why CNC laser-cut instead of plasma-cut?
CNC laser-cutting controls the heat-affected zone more precisely than plasma cutting, preserving hardness at the plate edge. The result is a cleaner perimeter, longer plate life and more predictable splatter behavior on impact.

Does this pack ship painted?
No. All ShootSteel targets ship unpainted. White and bright orange offer the best contrast downrange for tracking hits.

Is this product made in the United States?
Yes. These targets are manufactured in the United States from domestic AR500 steel.

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with ShootSteel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to ShootSteel specifications
