1/2" AR500 Round Steel Target and T-Post Hanger System

The AR500 Static Target and T-Post Hanger Package gives you a simple, durable steel target setup with your choice of target size. Choose the 5" round for tight precision drills or the 8" round for increased visibility and a more forgiving hit zone. Each configuration pairs a CNC laser-cut AR500 target with a T-Post hanger for fast, tool-free mounting on standard steel posts.

Each target is cut from 1/2" AR500 steel for maximum durability under repeated impact. The included T-Post hanger uses a spring-loaded mounting system that allows the plate to move slightly on impact, helping direct splatter downward while reducing stress on the mounting hardware. This results in safer energy dispersion and longer service life compared to rigid mounting methods.

Designed for both pistol and rifle use, this package is built for shooters who want a compact, reliable setup that can be deployed quickly in the field or on a home range. Targets ship unpainted. Manufactured in the United States.

What's Included

Assembly Notes

• Insert carriage bolt through target and compression spring
• Tighten lock nut using a 3/4" wrench; bolt shoulder locks into target cutout
• Slide hanger over a straight, undeformed T-post
• Verify secure fit and begin shooting

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances:

• Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
• Rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 100 yards minimum
• Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
• .338 Lapua Magnum: 200 yards minimum

Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Use quality eye and ear protection. Inspect all components before each session and replace any part showing damage or excessive wear. Do not use steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition.

What calibers are these targets rated for?
These 1/2" AR500 targets are rated for all centerfire handgun cartridges and rifle cartridges up to .338 Lapua Magnum at recommended distances.

Do I need additional hardware?
No. All required mounting hardware is included. You only need a compatible T-post to complete the setup.
