I ordered and received two of the 24"X24" steel square plates for long range shooting. The targets were of the usual fine quality I expect from SHOOTSTEEL. The mounting kit was totally screwed up. The quick links were not large enough to fit into the hole on the target or the chains. I had to buy 4 new larger quick links so the chains provided would fit through the opening in the link. I scanned the code attached in the kit and it did not show how to attach these larger plates, but I assumed they attached the same as the smaller gongs. Other than the quick links being the wrong size and no directions in the attachment kit, the targets are terrific.

I’ve purchased a few gong targets, one complete gong target stand and a few of shoot steel stand kits. Recently I got an email from a different company with a gong target on sale for an unbelievable price so I bought it but came back to shoot steel for all the hardware needed to hang the target. I can honestly say I won’t be buying anymore steel targets from anyone but shoot steel. The quality of the one I bought from the other company isn’t close to the quality of the shoot steel targets I’ve bought.
