The T-Post Gong Hanger Set of Two is the fastest way to hang a steel gong target in the field. Slide each hanger over a standard 1.25" or 1.33" T-post to your desired height, let it lock into place, attach your chain with a quick link and start shooting. No tools, no bolts, no hardware to manage at the range. The two-hanger set gives you a stable, balanced hang point for gong targets from a minimum 3/8" 8" round up to a maximum 1/2" 12"x20" silhouette. Each hanger is cut from 3/8" AR500 for the same durability as the targets they hold. The self-locking design grips the T-post at any height without set screws or clamps, and individual hangers are easy to remove and replace as needed. For chain and hardware, pair with the Steel Chain Mounting Kit or the Rubber Chain Mounting Kit. Works with both 3/8" steel targets and 1/2" steel targets. FAQs

How does the self-locking design work?
The hanger profile is shaped to grip the flanged edge of a standard T-post when weight is applied. Slide the hanger down to your desired height and the load of the target and chain locks it in place against the post without set screws, bolts or clamps. To reposition, lift the hanger slightly to release the grip and slide to the new height.

What T-post sizes are compatible?
The hangers fit standard 1.25" and 1.33" steel T-posts available at farm, ranch and hardware stores. Because post profiles can vary slightly by brand, confirm fit before purchasing posts. T-post not included.

What is the minimum and maximum target size for this hanger set?
The minimum recommended target size is a 3/8" 8" round gong, which provides enough weight for the hangers to lock reliably onto the post. The maximum is a 1/2" 12"x20" silhouette. Maximum weight capacity beyond that depends on soil conditions and how firmly the T-post is set. Do not exceed the rated maximum target size.

Why two hangers instead of one?
A single hang point allows a gong to rotate and swing unpredictably under fire. Two hangers spaced on a single T-post create a stable two-point suspension that keeps the target face oriented toward the shooter and controls swing after impact, which means faster target return and more consistent feedback between shots.

What chain and hardware do I need?
Chain and quick links are not included. Compatible options are the Steel Chain Mounting Kit and the Rubber Chain Mounting Kit.
