The 3/8" AR500 22"x30" Rectangle Gong Target Package includes everything needed to build a large-format steel target system except the 2x4 lumber. The package combines our 22"x30" AR500 rectangle gong target with a complete mounting solution, including a 15" Steel Chain Mounting Kit, Hybrid Hangers, and 2x4 Gong Stand Brackets. Simply add standard dimensional lumber and you'll have a durable, freestanding target system ready for the range.
The 22"x30" target provides a full-torso strike face that is ideal for long-range rifle practice, defensive shooting drills, and high-volume pistol training. The included Hybrid Hangers and chain system create a highly visible and audible target response while allowing fast assembly and teardown. CNC laser-cut from certified AR500 steel and manufactured in the USA, this package is built for years of dependable use.

Assembly
- Cut a 2x4 crossmember to 48-60"
- Cut four 2x4 legs to 60-80"
- Assemble the stand using the included gong stand brackets
- Install the Hybrid Hangers and chain
- Hang the target and begin shooting
Safety and Usage
Minimum shooting distances:
- Centerfire handgun: 10 yards minimum
- Rifle at or below 3,000 fps muzzle velocity (.308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor): 100 yards minimum
- Rifle above 3,000 fps muzzle velocity: 200 yards minimum
- Increase distance any time pitting is observed
Always shoot perpendicular to the target face. Inspect all hardware, chain, hangers, and the target plate before every session. Replace damaged components immediately. No steel-core, armor-piercing, or tracer ammunition.
