2" HD EMT Conduit Gong Stand Kit

The 2" HD EMT Conduit Gong Stand Kit gives you the heavy-duty bracket hardware needed to build a steel gong target stand using locally sourced EMT conduit. The system uses a 2" EMT crossmember with 1.25" EMT legs, giving you the ability to cut the stand to the height and width that fits your target, terrain and shooting setup. Conduit is not included. The bracket hardware is manufactured in the United States.

This kit is designed for large and heavy gong target setups and will not work with rigid conduit, plumbing pipe or other conduit sizes. Assembly requires cutting the EMT to length, measuring and drilling each tube end, and deburring the cut edges before final assembly. Assembly

• Cut the 2" EMT crossmember and 1.25" EMT legs to your desired lengths
• Measure 1.5" from each tube end and mark the drill point
• Drill one 5/16" hole at each required tube end
• Deburr all cut and drilled edges before assembly
• Assemble the stand using the included bracket hardware and instructions

This kit is designed specifically for 2" EMT conduit at the crossmember and 1.25" EMT conduit at the legs. Do not substitute rigid conduit, standard plumbing pipe or other conduit sizes.

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances are determined by the target plate used with this stand. Always follow the safety and distance requirements for the specific target and cartridge combination.

Inspect all bracket hardware, conduit, hanging hardware and the target before every session. Replace any component that shows deformation, cracking, severe wear or structural damage. Use quality eye and ear protection and mount all targets according to Shoot Steel specifications.

FAQs

Does this kit include the EMT conduit?
No. The kit includes the bracket hardware and assembly instructions. You supply 2" EMT conduit for the crossmember and 1.25" EMT conduit for the legs.

Why is the conduit sold separately?
Buying EMT locally keeps heavy conduit out of the shipping box and lets you cut the crossmember and legs to the dimensions that work for your target, terrain and range setup.

What conduit sizes do I need?
The stand requires 2" EMT conduit for the crossmember and 1.25" EMT conduit for the legs. It will not work with rigid conduit, standard plumbing pipe or other conduit sizes.

Can I customize the height and width of the stand?
Yes. Because you supply and cut the EMT conduit, you can adjust the leg length and crossmember width to fit your range setup and target size.

What work is required to assemble the stand?
You will need to cut the conduit to length, measure 1.5" from the tube ends, drill 5/16" holes and deburr the cut edges before assembly. Detailed instructions are included.

What should I use to hang my gong target?
Compatible options include the 15" Grade 100 Steel Chain Gong Mounting Kit and the 8" Rubber Chain Gong Target Mounting Kit. Hanging hardware and targets are sold separately.

• Normal wear, pitting, cratering and target face degradation are not covered

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with Shoot Steel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
