The 3/8″ AR500 Static Steel Target is built for durability and consistent performance. CNC laser cutting ensures clean edges and reduces the heat-affected zone, resulting in a longer-lasting target compared to plasma-cut alternatives. Each target includes mounting holes sized for 1/2″ carriage bolts, allowing secure attachment to a steel post, 2×4, or other compatible structure. For best results, use at least Grade 5 hardware.

Caliber Ratings and Applications
This target is ideal for short-action rifles such as .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor, and it’s equally suitable for all standard pistol cartridges. Always consult the ShootSteel Cartridge Guide if you are unsure which target thickness is right for your intended use.

Mounting Options
Pair with the Static Target Hanger for vertical 2×4 mounting, the Speed Rack Hanger for horizontal 2×4 setups, or the patented T-Post Static Hanger for single-post installations.
