AR550 targets package Includes (3) 5″ steel target cut from premium Hardox 1/2″ AR550 steel, and (3) 8″ rubber chain along with hardware for 2×4 mounting.

The 8″ rubber strap creates a highly reactive target that will slap back very hard on direct hits. You will need to drill a hole into a 2×4 with room underneath for the rubber strap to contact. Keep the chain flush to the 2″x4″ for a consistent swinging motion, without worrying about the target face shifting sideways. Strap works well with targets up to 1/2″ thick, 8″ round.

We recommend picking up some 2x4s and/or conduit for a stable stand. Our 2×4 gong brackets are great for a purely 2×4 stand. Use our 2×4 hybrid brackets if you’d like conduit legs. Conduit legs will hold up longer than 2×4, especially with a shorter cross member.

These Steel Shooting Targets are perfect for rugged use. Rated for all handgun cartridges and rifle cartridges up to .338 Lapua Magnum at 200 yards. 1/2” AR500 steel targets work great for 7mm Mag, 30-06, 300 Mag, 338 Mag, and 45-70. We rate our AR550 targets for the same distances as our AR500. AR550 is significantly harder, and mitigates the ‘pitting’ effect better than AR500.
